John Thanks, I have read all of the varied VIX explanation articles and even tried to understand the math...lol! All I am trying to find or figure out now, is some kind of trend analysis and trying to understand why VIX or more importantly /VX, moves in the way it does during various market situations. In other words who is doing what, when and why, to archive what outcome. Sometimes the movements make sense, other times ??, but it is certainly interesting to follow. Swing Trading this is often like jumping on a moving train not knowing which way the train is moving. lol! Don
