One area that needs to be addressed going forward is the approach to retail in urban areas.

Many, if not most "mom and pop" shops have been wiped out by the larger chains and big box stores. Block after block of storefronts are empty or have few users left. We now are seeing the same issue starting to hit even more malls across the country. It would seem to me that there needs to be some sort of balance or middle ground between the large malls, supermarkets, WMT/TGT, and AMZNs or the world.
