I hear you. As I was reading the CBO report, esp. the part laying out the refundable tax credits and how many would be eligible for at least a small amount of government subsidization, I found myself thinking how in the world did my generation manage to do as well as we did.

High mortgage interest rates, no IRA or 401K programs, no healthcare subsidies, and no huge student loans availablilty. Oh, and no Health Savings Accounts or those tax-free college saving accounts, lol.

Now it's a world where people seem to think they deserve all kinds of government assistance in order to make it.
