my take-away on casual perusal, be ...

- team usa held an election
- trump won and clinton lost

- the way-points going forward is less certain than had clinton won and trump lost
- 46 months to go

- trump's time is certainly being wasted by perhaps unprecedented insurrection
- perhaps not a bad happening

- democrats are not exactly reflecting on their collective and horrendous loss, but pointing fingers every which way
- republicans are not exactly making good use of time
- definitely not a good way forward

- financial market is still okay with the outcome
