I suspect that a lot of hard agricultural labor jobs would require about $40.00 an hour or so to attract domestic labor. That wage would eliminate many agricultural enterprises as uneconomic, reducing the demand for labor. It would also require tariffs on imported food to prevent low wage countries from flooding our markets.
