Comdisco's ace in the hole over the next couple of years is the Y2K (Year 2000) problem, aka the "millennium bug". Securing adequate CPU time will be critical to making sure all remediated software is testing thoroughly enough to be put back in production-- and CDO is the world leader in supplying the necessary resources in this regard.

Since many companies have not yet even started to fix their Y2K code, let alone test it, very little Y2K revenue, if any, has hit CDO's bottom line. But considering the strength of their management and their current assets, CDO should prosper well past the millennium, crisis or no crisis.
