Thanks for the kind words, Milton, Bill, and Joe. At the meeting when my stock club decided to buy BIOI, we were to choose 2 stocks for purchase out of 6 stocks reviewed by our stock selection committee. I'm on the committee and did most of the reviews on the 6 stocks. BIOI and Applebees appeared to me to be the best of the 6. Surpsingly, it didn't take a lot to convince the majority of the members that these were our 2 best choices. We bought both. APPB has since been hammered pretty good. It makes me wonder if we know what we're doing. The six we came up with also included Nike, Hong Kong Telecom, Southwest Airlines, and Friedman Industries (Friedmans is a steel processing/finishing company).

No one wanted to buy Nike due to ethical considerations. You know, exploitation of Asian workers. I countered by saying that, yes, Nike is making a profit off the backs of these poor Asians and we can too! No one thought my reasoning was valid on this point.
