Mau ,, I am happy that you and Conrad Cement Slicer and Jack Hammer are finally coming to your senses .. It has been a long struggle.
You do know that any cords that are TEMPORARY such as extension cords , welding cables,, charging cables for electric vehicles are perfectly fine above floors as long as they meet code requirements for that area and are hung up after use.

Stringing extension cords over ,, or on public sidewalks in Ontario is against the law.... probably London too ,, just waiting for a law suit to happen. What about snow on the sidewalk and sideway plow comes down?

It is 2017 Mau,, I have to be protected from the crazy bastard syndrome.. and as you know they are everywhere .. regulations and stiff fines to keep the crazy basturds at bay! VVV quote.

Your first sentences doesn't match up with the rest Jeesus.. If electrical cables have to be buried to protect them.. it makes no sense to have them come out of the ground and then run over the concrete floor in the shed.
