Exactly GZ. Which is why I say expand medicare for ALL. 30 other developed countries do it.

We have not had a true open free market in medical care since 1910. Since then we have had layer upon layer of regulations and corporate favoritism piled on the system. Yes, a true free open market health care system might work. But 100 years of legislation would have to be undone. The Republican plan does NONE of that. NONE. It is a budget bill, not a regulation bill.

I too would like a free market solution. But I am willing to try what EVERY single developed nation in the world is trying first. A national healthcare solution. That single payer system, in and of itself, would get rid of a lot of the corporate favoritism built in our current system. Our cost would then resemble what the rest of the world pays for healthcare, which is considerably less than ours.
