The only time a majority government in Canada listens to the electorate is polling time just before an election. What they hear is forgotten ten minutes after they win power. If the Idiot presently at the helm listened he would be helping Canadians rather than taking selfies and squandering abroad. Driving the canadian taxpayer over $15 B in debt ofer the last 1 1/2 years. Contributing to transportation infrastructure projects in the Asia, donating to fund jobs in Iraq. 250 B to the world climate change fund while Trump is reducing the regs.
Spending Millions on bringing refugees who half say they want to return to their homeland once it calms down. And many more useless to walk around pretending to be important. All the while not even looking after the Canada's homeless or helping the Native population with a mere $10M who were herded onto remote reserves with polluted drinking water. I wouldn't brag about what the current federal politicians have accomplished.
So generous with all their spending they gave Old age pensioners who have paid taxes into the country all their lives. A raise of 59 cents per month. Saying that should be plenty to live on. When those who don't own a home have to pay $1000 per month rent and utilities. Their total pension income pays $1500 some less.
While he pays for refugee housing, Medical Education, furniture and over $2000 PM in living allowance.

It is a good thing the US is generous toward Canada and buys 70% of what is produced . If it didn't Canada would be nothing more than another Mexico. If you look at the conditions the social assistance, single parent families and live in. Perhaps it already is behind the scenes.

Thank god there is a right wing government in BC at least the economy is flourishing. As a matter of fact it is the best in the Nation. Alberta used to be but the left wing is now crippling that province to with over regulation that kills industry.
Canada is certainly not the glory land people make it out to be. Haven't paid their way in Nato since Pierre Trudeau. For decades they have survived on the back of the US exploiting $15 billion a year give or take in trade deficits. To support the lifestyle for current middle class Canadians. which wins election votes. Politicians run up the debt, and leave the bill to the grand children to pay.

I see nothing to be proud of there.
