Financial engineering and housing bubbles under Reagan and GWB collapsed while GOP still had presidency in 1990 and 2008. Fed gave Obama a free pass this cycle keeping ZIRP to infinity and yield curve steep for eight years an astounding period of time few talk about. Tightening should have started slowly after 2012 elections at the latest. Millenials screwed the most by this should be protesting the Federal Reserve not Trump. FYI I am fine in my mid 50's and will start unloading some of my 18 homes bought dirt cheap no leverage in coming months
