Scott Adams has done a good job of changing his narrative to fit the changing situation. Like his comic strip, his commentary is occasionally amusing.

It's like the talking heads of financial or websites MarketWatch who every evening come up with plausible sounding reasons why the stock market went up or down that day. It's especially fun when they use exactly the same reasons for different reactions.

A.) "Rising interest rates gave investors increased confidence in the economy leading the Dow 30 to rise 280 points."

B.)
"Rising interest rates caused a steep 280 point decline in the Dow as investors took stock of how far business profits as the Fed tightens monetary policy."
