The key to Trump's goal of eliminating the Alternate Minimum Tax, implemented by President Richard Nixon in 1969, lies in using his negotiating skill to convince Congress to agree to his proposed budget cuts, such as the 35% reduction in the budget for Rex Tillerson's State Department. I think a lot of these departments can easily sustain big cuts as the US cedes global leadership to Germany and China.

Fortunately it's clear Trump cleverly Reverse-Kafka-Trapped the Freedom Caucus in the House and the remaining 27 members of the Freedom Caucus will now have no choice now but to speedily agree to Trump's tax proposals or risk losing their seats in the next election to Republican candidates put forward by House Speaker Paul Ryan and President Donald Trump.

All we can do is sit back and watch as the shock and awe unfolds.
