Though I am not an absolute expert on the subject of gaming machines -- a machine is generally set to pay out a certain return -- assume in this case, 75%. The fact is however, that once the money is removed (I am really referring to slot machines here), if it has only paid out 49% that day, it has only paid out 49%. The next day it may pay out 75% or 10%.
MBA might be able to find out if the machine resets once the money is removed, insofar as the payout percentage is concerned.
I realize these machines do not actually pay themselves and that might make a difference -- I hope it does not.
If I have been unclear -- when you go to Vegas and the sign says 98% payback -- the odds of 98% payback are very slim indeed. The catch is the money being removed -- I know I am not too far off here, love to be corrected!
