bap, As I recall the piece on CNBC the thing that was unusual about this group was that this high school was a focus school for troubled or difficult kids. They aparently came from troubled circumstances or had attendence problems in the past or something to that effect. So I am not sure that they necessarily had inside information. The teacher/advisor said they were all focused about doing research and met every day to discuss their trading. This is not to say that they didn't figure out an edge in the game, but even if they did then I say more power to them. They are learning life lessons about the market whatever the case.
