I wouldn't place to much stock in JH's opinion. He 's just another central Canadian Left wing Canuck who even milk benefits from other provinces in their own country. Now he's bitching because Trump may not be so liberal with the handouts that feeds him as the democrats were. Under Obama Canada survived on the $15.8 Billion trade deficit, by short changing the NATO defense budget and manipulating the Canadian currency On top of that it is not the business of Canadians nor persons of any other country what goes on in US politics. Unless they have legal status to vote in Us elections. Another words Canada lived on US welfare. And he says he's proud of it. I believe the Canadian Loonie should be pegged at par the US green back. Would support US businesses, Oil, manufacturing, and lumber producers. It would also cause the Canadian government to run a tighter ship. As then the difference in the dollar could not be exploited to Canadian benefit increasing the production of cheaper products. Exactly the same as China and Mexico does. Foreign countries do it all at the detriment of the US worker and Taxpayer. It was not the Us who pushed the hardest for the Canada US trade agreement. It was Brian Mulroney Then Canadian Prime Minister. Canada benefits far more than the US from it. He sacrificed Algoma Steel to keep a portion of the Auto industry from moving back to the US and agreement on other goodies to Canada's benefit. Once the deal was in place. Russia came in to replace steel production steel in Canada. China was invited into the Oil industry selling them one of the largest oil firms in the west. All to the detriment of US corporations in Canada and at home. Canadian media and Television are as left and Fake news as CNN, MSNBC and others in the US. They are constantly on the attack of the present administration. And in love with the democrats who interfered and swung the last federal election North of the Border to the left.
