We gave Russia the right to purchase uranium in return for a vast amount of their weapons grade uranium to keep it out of the hands of terrorists because security in post-Soviet Russia was shit.

It was a very good deal for us and at that moment it was in Russia's interest.

Subsequently, Russia doesn't even need to uranium ore we guaranteed them access to - an even better deal for our security and financially an amazing deal.

The problem is you have very limited information about the world around you, so you're attracted to political candidates who know as little as you do because you find them relatable - clearly a problem we need to fix in our society.
