Maybe I'm dense, but to me, the upside is not limited for a covered call. Many times you
can have your cake and eat it too. Naked put has upside of only the premium. BTW, did
you mean "covered put" in your last post, or naked put?

I meant naked put. A covered call certainly limits upside. The strike price plus the premium is the the upside. The same as a naked put.

Please do any example with any stock you wish. Choose the same strike price and expiration and you will find upside and downside identicle.
