Okay, well done. With straining and grunting you are getting there: <<Your going to have to come up with another tax scheme. >> So you understand, apparently, my point that tax revenue will drop when taxes on the huge industry of internal combustion engine old-school industrial revolution cars are evaded by home-charging uberized autopilot cars. No taxes on R&M or a lot more besides.

So let's see if you can strain your way to the next obvious point. Governments will want to replace those lost taxes with other taxes on cars. Your free lunch tax evasion lifestyle is fun, but won't last.

Governments will tax cars per kilometre and per congestion. That's how it should be done now. A gas guzzler or dinky little car or Tesla all take up the same space on the road, but one pays lots of tax, the Tesla none - other than salaries for employees as Tesla doesn't make a profit.

Your going
That should be "You're going" or "You are going".

Now, how are you going? Do you think you understand the point about taxes on repairs and maintenance?

If you think you are there, now consider the economic impact and tax revenue effect of 90% of cars being redundant and the remaining cars needing negligible maintenance and no insurance. People will get Alexa or Siri to whistle up an uberized autopilot electric car when they want to go somewhere.

Lots of unemployed people and lots of missing tax revenue. Freeloader tax evaders like you will be given a closer look. You will be taxed. Per kilometre. Big heaps!!

Will you be able to follow this? Probably not. But some people will find it interesting.
