One doji does not make a chart pattern.... any book on candlesticks tells you to wait for a confirming candlestick before making a decision... in the case of a monthly chart that would mean you are waiting for another month before the confirmation can be made.

A pure doji cross means indecision... nothing more... could go in any direction
