My Stuart Island home is not served by the grid.

Nobody on the island has access to a grid and they all "self generate".

Over 98% generate with solar and some wind.

Thirty years ago it was 100% fossil fueled generators.

You need to get some experience with renewables instead of yapping about something you know nothing about!
