I think you need to live here and get a real handle on the solar exposure here.

About ten miles north of me usually rests the infamous Puget Sound convergence zone.

Just north of downtown Seattle up to just a few miles south of Everett.

Almost three times the cloudy days as my location where I live.

I do like the rain shadow courtesy of the Olympic mountains!

It's even more pronounced up at Stuart Island courtesy of Vancouver Island.

You need to study the 1 km square grids.
