Admittedly, it would be nice to have a second earth, in which everything was the same, but with CO2 kept constant at 280 ppm, as a control. We don't have one, so we're stuck with experimenting on ourselves.

We're doing the real experiment; you are living in the test tube. We've added enuf CO2 to go from 280 ppm to about 405, and temps have gone up 1.51 degrees C.
