Eric, you have much trouble understanding things, perhaps because you have trouble reading for comprehension: <<

Electric cars are gaining economies of scale but they aren't there yet.

It's happening a lot faster than you think.
>>

As I have explained, electric cars gaining economies of scale has happened a LOT slower than I thought. 31 years ago I thought it would have been a done deal by now. I thought it would have been a done deal by Y2K. It has happened very slowly.

In general, I tend to think things will happen faster than they do. So, once again, you are wrong. It's happening slowly. You can get the number of cars running on electric from Google if you want accurate data. It's not a secret.

You are amusing Eric.

<<
Gasoline and diesel engine technology made amazing gains over those 30 years and held the line!

They have not gained that much in efficiency over those 30 years. >>

They did in fact gain exactly as much efficiency as they did and it was sufficient to hold the line for 30 years. Robots make engines now, very efficiently, and cheaply. There have been many many gains. Exhaust systems don't corrode. Spark plugs last for decades. Engine oil doesn't leak and doesn't need topping up with each fill of petrol. It doesn't need changing ever 3000 km. Engines last wonderfully. I don't carry tools to make repairs en route.

You need to try reading for comprehension Eric. Are you dyxlesic?
