You aren't directing the investigation, which will go where it goes. (One place it has already gone is to a bank in Cyprus). Any conviction; tax evasion, money laundering, conspiring to kidnap on behalf of a foreign government, lying to Congress.

No; you get no wiggle room. Either somebody will go to jail or be pardoned as a result of the investigation, or nobody will. It's not very complicated.
