Today will be very telling about the current "mentality" of the market's major players. Do they continue to buy the dip in the face of a changing risk profile or is there a profit taking, protect capital and move to the sidelines approach. My guess is that the buy the dip will stay in place, as much as anything since that's the way most of the algos are currently programmed. Here's one of wolf's charts, that will change as he edits it down the road.... So far, the buying has come in right where you'd expect. Let's see how the market reacts into the close:
