Scheb, Here's an old article about Taiwan's plans for future capacity. They make Intel sound paltry. Taiwan now has almost 20 8-in.-wafer fabs in operation. Over the next 10 years, its chip makers plan to invest $67 billion to build four 8-in.-wafer and up to 30 12-in.-wafer fabs. techweb.com Bob
