Thanks PW for the quick review. The reason the subject of the alternative start-menu came up is because if a user completely disables Cortana, the search-box in the default Win10 start-menu also won't work or be shown.

This start-menu you tested is unaffected by disabling Cortana, retains the search-box, and I like the layout better.
