Vincent, the private placement in FNET is high risk, high reward, as venture capital tends to be. If you buy FTEL shares and the IPO of FNET fails you still have shares in a going concern. If you buy the FNET private placement shares and the FNET IPO doesn't come off you own wall paper. There is also a back door strategy of buying DCTC and receiving (we hope) shares of FNET if the IPO happens, while retaining the value of DCTC if the IPO of FNET doesn't happen.
