I have another chart I want to bounce off you

this is not an original idea of mine but it is something I discovered on the Point and Figure charting forum moderated by Fintas .... it was a post by AdvocatusDiaboli

I have of course used Moving averages since Adam was a child but I never looked at them in this light. I modified his approach though by eliminating the 300 day SMA because I did not see it adding to the interpretation but I applied it to Apple and the result is interesting.... here is the chart



You can see that Apple went through a similar rise to the unknown heights from nov 2013 to July 2015.

See how the 100day SMA suddenly levels out then falls followed later by the 200day SMA. Now you could have waited for the 100 SMA to cross the 200 SMA but I don't think I would have waited that long... at the worst I would have pulled the plug when the price dropped below the 200daySMA or you coul have pulled the plug when it dropped below the 100 day SMA the second time

Now look at the current situation... does it look like there is a problem pending??? I doubt it both SMA's are strong and rising... and the SMA's are diverging... not converging.

I think this chart could be quite useful.
