TJ says let Trump " try" first.

Well I would say a couple hundred Tomahawks sent in waves to get their attention. Interceptors readied to take out any counter launch attempt.

Then a 1/2 dozen Bombs like the 21Kt non nuclear one just dropped in Afghanistan. Target them on the N. K.'s Nuclear facilities plus other surface and air defense locations should get their attention.

Those are big bombs Nagasaki & Hiroshima were hit by a 15 KT . 21KT is larger in explosive power, but without the radiation fallout.

Follow that up with a few more tomahawks destined to destroy of the few remaining locations missed in the first round. In my opinion would be a pretty severe slap on the wrist.

Doubt there would be much need for help from China. Other than perhaps they could Annex what is left over. Or agree for S/Korea to then manage the peoples needs as one country again.

US has plenty of force at hand to accomplish the task. The question is does China really want to leave it to the US. Or would Xi rather have a bit more mundane effort through mutual co-operation with Trump. I expect the latter.
