Some Democrats, led by Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) are now saying they won’t cooperate on any tax reform effort unless Trump releases his own tax returns, arguing they need to know how proposed changes would impact the president’s own finances. Trump is never going to release his tax returns. Never, ever, ever. And now Democrats may have found a way to be obstructionist while draping themselves in politically popular anti-Trump righteousness.
