my point is that we shouldn't judge an entire breed based a few instances. they are very good dogs.
I wasn't judging. Just reporting what is being talked about. I said pit bulls because that's what people who were there called them.

I once had a collie/shepherd mix who was very protective of me and my kids. Back when there were curbside newsstands that you could pull up to and buy a paper, I motioned the newsboy over to buy a paper. He reached in the car to hand me the paper and my dog attacked him.

Dogs are loyal and protective by nature. Don't think it matters what breed.
