I came across a sight where it had happened a number of times in the past 20 years... and in different types of environments.

Thanks for your thoughts. My main interest is when it happens suddenly, like it did yesterday and then reverts back to the normal trend like it did today.

Can you provide a chart or link showing some of those occurrences over 20 years. I am trying to figure out what it might mean short or long term and any insights are appreciated.
