John Kaiser has also taken note of Vulcan's properties in Provinces of Alberta, Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador and in a recent Express included Vulcan as a "bottom fish" buy.

3. West Coast Newfoundland

Press release today on private placement of 480K flow-through shares with an additional one planned in the near future to cover planned seismic activity which is to commense within the next month in relation to an oil discovery at 450 feet in West Coast Newfoundland. Furthermore, a second drill at the 45000 feet Ortivician level on this same property is planned for June 1998. It is noteworthy to mention that this oil property is adjacent to the Pan Canadian/Hunt Oil consortium. I refer you to the Government of Newfoundland's Press Release on the Hunt/Pan Canadaian major Oil Discovery in West Coast Newfoundland, just a short distance with the same "sweet crude".
