California secession is Brexit on steroids. A form of Balkanization. A relative solution. Plenty of plusses and minuses. I ponder it a lot. Diverse California probably could survive as a sustainable state better than any other state (maybe Oregon and Washington would be ok) but without global trade (California ports account for critical economic contribution) and open borders with "illegals" in agriculture and doing other literally shitty gigs, I think we would die a slow economic death.
