Joe, your remarks, if valid, reflex an "ego" making decisions. This could be good or bad for Compaq, depending on how well their ego is coordinated with good business sense. Again, I don't know much how Compaq operates. Intel seems a bit more dispassionate about these issues, although I certainly wouldn't say they lack passion. Regards, David S.
