Ian - Re:" What does everyone else think of the value of INTC?.."
You never go broke taking a profit. Congratulations.
As for me, I'll put my money into a better investment as soon as I can find one.
Right now, Intel IS the EYE of a hurricane. 95% of the computer evolution/revolution is spinning around this company, growing, expanding, filling voids and vacuums.
Intel is essentially the "sole" supplier of engines for the information age.
This situation may have no parallel in history. The closest I can think of is the dawning of the telephone age. A T & T was THE BIG THING in the United States. It provided nearly all the telephones through it's Western Electric division, controlled the local Bell Operating systems, and owned & operated the long distance lines. They did this for the most part in the USA.
Intel is in a similar situation, except it is supplying the entire WORLD with "phones" - CPUs that can communicate, compute, play games, and anything else that comes along.
I wouldn't miss this ride for anything.
As Intel stockholders, we are are all participating in this adventure.
Everyone else is standing by watching.
