It is going to be interesting, Compaq is taking a big gamble. If I were in Intel marketing, I would say something like "Make sure you get an ANTHENTIC Pentium in your new computer".

I think their hands are tied as far as retribution is concerned, although with a BTO strategy, a few days delays of key component shipments shipments can cause lost sales.
