Last I heard Kingsbury was shut down indefinitely until washing out of road near the top quits. Its a bummer as that is my preferred route from Nevada home to Lake cabin. Beaches always gets squeezed when lake level goes over 6226. But over all the lake level has been managed quite well looking back over the chart. Very few times did it go over 6229 mostly early on last century. also very few excursions below 6223. So basically a tightly managed level with extremes held to 3 or 4 feet one way or the other.

The rising lake makes for better boating. some shallow bays such as Meeks will have much better access from the water. Also the entry to Emerald Bay will be much less of an issue this year and that is a heavily travelled entrance.
