I'm going to make a simple test for both of us. List as many "substantial" accomplishments of each president as you can.
Obama.
1. Convinced Democrats to waste, utterly waste, $852 Billion, without a single Republican vote. (How fucking hard can THAT be?)
2. Promised to close GITMO before Year End. Failed to achieve it.
3. Appointed Holder, a political appointee, as AG, something not historically done in response to contributions.
4. Announced the release of abu Ghraib photos & videos, but had to reverse it for fear of enraging the enemy.
5. Signed Lilly Ledbedder Act which made a minor change to the CRA64.
6. White House Pay Freeze Saved taxpayers $443,000.
7. First Sitting President to Appear on Tonight Show.
Trump.
1. Budget with Substantial, meaningful cuts to wasteful programs.
2. Regulation Reform that should save $1,000,000,000,000 over ten years.
3. Imposed Government Hiring Freeze until Budget in place with pinpoint cuts.
4. Received first bids on Border Wall.
5. Eliminated funding of Fake Science.
6. Challenged Outrageous, Illegal sanctuary cities and is now headed to Supreme Court on it.
7. Enforced Obama's "Red Line" which Obama refused to enforce.
8. Rebuilt Relations with Israel.
9. Established First serious relations with China in ages. China working to control North Korea.
10. Supreme Court Appointment now on the Court which Obama could not do because of his horrible relationship with Congressional Republicans.
11. Pro-business attitude immediately showing economic improvement over Obama mess.
12. First attempt at repeal of ACA, now being followed by second.
13. Introduced MAJOR tax reform.
14. Withdrawn from TPP
15. Ordered reversal of idiotic Net Neutrality changes.
16. 28 Legislative successes in spite of the most intransigent Congress in memory.
There is, quite frankly, no comparison between the two. I could go on for a while. |
