It looks like what we are seeing now in the rise in price on low volume is the fact that the shorts bought to cover their positions on dec 31 (hence the large volume on that day) and now it appears there is not much stock left at these lower price levels...unless someone sells.
I also have had discussions with Scott Cameron concerning the number of outstanding shares and the number I recieved is a little different than posted by Froland, regardless of that I have been in and out of TSIS a few times since Sept. At that time the company and insiders owned about 2 million shares, now it has increased to around 5-6 million...thats a damn good sign in my book even though the total number of shares outstanding has tripled. TSIS is definitly in profits now. If we do some quick calculations based on the cash they have and the expected revenue from ATT, Lucent etc... we can easily expect around .10 cents per share in earnings for 1998 (it will probably be more). So we are currently trading at a forward P/E of 4-5 where the average for the industry is 20. This tells me that there is not much more bottom side risk from the present price levels. I believe Michael T Currie has done some risk analysis on TSIS, maybe he can repost his findings.
