About a year ago, on an active thread at the time, some people would post quick 1 line replies to earlier posts.

Some, certainly those with slower access, would complain that they would look at a post and then 'click' to see the rest of the message only to find there was nothing more to follow.

At first, some used <end>. Other forms were used. I for my own part used <eom>. As time went on I abbreviated it to <e>. It just means that if you are scanning posts do not bother to look for more information. I have completed my message.

Now, that message is probably not necessary. You are the third person to ask and I imagine access times are fast enough that it has become unnecessary.
