Allen, You and others need to see Steve Goff's post #42369
from a few days ago (Jan. 4). Most didn't get it because
he failed to outline its significance. It's a link to an
on-line map of a big November '98 conference called PMA.
My guess that means Photographic Manufacturers Association.
Anyways, its the floor plan, and the biggest exhibitors near
the front are naturally the likes of Kodak, Fuji, Agfa, Canon,
and a few others. The second tier of upfront big exhibits
are: IOMEGA, Adobe and then Hewlett Packard (with about half
the space of IOMEGA). IOM also has the premier position
at the entrance to the exhibits. Now what are they doing
there so prominantly just 10 months from now - showing
VAPORWARE. So give Vaughn a break whether he knows something
about 40 MB Zip or Clik disks and drives or not. IOM
knows something they haven't told us and a big splash is
obviously planned. So heads up. Cheap 40 MG 2x2 disks & drives
are on the way into all sorts of products including cameras.
Don't doubt it for a moment.

Regards, David S.
Long on Intel and Iomega
