I'm shopping around to put together a stereo music setup for my garage. So naturally it doesn't have to be fancy, but I do have a fixation about form follows function. Translation: It has to sound great!

I certainly want to keep costs down. Right now, I'm considering a 100w amp with bluetooth input and L., R. and Subwoofer output. However, a reviewer noted the absence of aptX support. Is that really important? I do want good sound, and I will be using bluetooth all the time from a pocket iPod.

I haven't chosen speakers yet. This inexpensive unit supports 8, 6 and 4 ohm. The sub is a true sub channel. Any shared experience here would be most welcome.
