Jim, Re: I believe that Cyrix has tweaked the design Go to Cyrix web site and check out the detail, you would be surprised. There is no detail but marketing stuff for MediaGX ! They put data sheet for 6x86 there but nothing for MediaGX except a very 'simple' benchmark which said MediaGX is comparable to Pentium. You figure. BTW, there is lots of notebook on sale now at the 'breakthrough' price mentioned in their press release (sub-2000). Today, a sub-2000 can easily be a 166MMX 12' TFT 32MB RAM and 2G HD. Will you still buy a MediaGX notebook ? Gary
