It's not insurance if it's a known pre-existing condition. If opm is used to treat a pre-existing condition then it's a tax not insurance. The "insurance" company is just a tax collector. People will avoid that tax if they possibly can. Of course.

It's all about how to get a free lunch, not insurance. Free medical diagnosis and treatment.

Deregulate the business. Make it as competitive as software development and ice cream making. There isn't a government department of approved software. But the industry is thriving and everyone is benefiting from the tsunami of software development.
