bee, I love you dearly. However, Trump is the master deal maker. Also he is the leader. Real leaders do not blame underlings. For better or worse - Trump is the one who will sign or not sign this deal. If Trump was willing to take a government shutdown - that is what we would have. My thinking is that he has not yet figured out how to make Schumer responsible for Schumer. Schumer on the other hand still has managed to make Trump responsible for Schumer. That has to change. Schumer needs some chin music. That has not yet happened.
