I thought about something earlier today.....about how QCOM phones will emerge as something of personal digital assistants and phones rapped into one neat unit.....

My girlfriend gave me a SHARP Wizard for Christmas to help myself organize my life....the thing is really neat...

Getting to the point, the actual capabilities and functions of this unit could easily be incorporated with a phone as the keyboard could be used to surf the net, check a calendar, make schedules, track money, check phone numbers, etc.....I feel that this is the way that the phones will go......Look at the Wizards that run on the windows CE system.....really neat, they fold out like the NOKIA phone, ....incorporate some of the functions found in the digital assistants with the new digital phones and their features and you get one HELL of an item to market to the general public......

ON a side note, the day that we get PC like power that is portable for under $600 will be the day that everyone has a PC......Some of the organizers are very neat...todays application don't require tons of RAM as in the past (WIN '95 is the RAM HOGGING APPLICATION).....the killer application is COMMUNICATIONS...(Ie. the internet)....Eudora is an internet protocal e-mail system...combine that with some of this organizer stuff and an awesome little gizmo comes out!!!
