I agree-
ALL-

I've only been daytrading since sept. 97, and broke even for the first 2 mos. Since then, I have been clearing 5-6K a mo. on a 30k acct. margined 50%.(before taxes) I'm assuming that this is OK performance, given the sideways market recently. I've certainly made mistakes, but am confident that it is possible, even likely, to make 100%/yr. on my acct. I realize that it gets more complicated with larger amounts, depending on what stocks you choose to trade, but a larger account will also allow you to trade a couple thousand MSFT or DELL a day, taking advantage of the several point moves those stocks can make. Larger amounts appear to be a problem with smaller volume stocks, I assume you would have to scale in and out with small buys. But I'm not at that point yet (soon I hope!)
On another note, I'm looking for TA to help with daytrades. I have been demoing IQSuite(www.iqc.com) but don't have enough experience with it yet. I am also considering First Alert, but haven't taken the jump yet. Any comments would be appreciated.
